Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 26, 2026
Nuvvi is an iPhone app for keeping a record of everyday baby care. This policy explains what happens to the information you enter.
In short
- Nuvvi has no account, no sign-in and no server of its own.
- Your records are stored on your iPhone and in your own iCloud account. We cannot see them.
- They are shared only with the people you invite.
- No analytics, no ads, no tracking, and no third-party SDKs.
What Nuvvi stores
What you enter: your child’s name, birth date and sex (used for WHO growth percentiles), care entries such as feeds, sleep, diapers, pumping and your own activities, growth measurements, notes, and family settings. Each entry also records which device and family member made it, so shared records stay consistent.
This information is stored on your iPhone.
iCloud
Nuvvi can keep your records in your own iCloud account using Apple’s CloudKit, so they sync between your devices and with the people you share with. This data sits in your iCloud account under Apple’s terms and privacy policy. We, the developer, have no access to it. If iCloud is off, your records stay on your iPhone only.
Sharing with another parent
When you share your family, the people you invite get access to the shared records through CloudKit sharing. Depending on the access you give them, they can view, add, edit and void entries. You can remove people or stop sharing at any time in Nuvvi, under Family. A removed person loses access once their device syncs.
No analytics, ads or tracking
Nuvvi contains no analytics, crash-reporting, advertising or other third-party SDKs. It does not track you across apps or websites, does not use the advertising identifier, and does not sell or share your data with anyone.
Live Activities
While a feed, sleep or pumping timer runs, Nuvvi can show it on your Lock Screen. This happens on your iPhone only. The Lock Screen shows your child’s name and the activity, so anyone who can see your phone can see it. You can turn Live Activities off in Settings › Nuvvi.
Export
CSV and PDF reports are created on your iPhone, only when you ask for one. You choose where to send them through the share sheet; once sent, they are handled by the app or person you sent them to.
Children’s information
Nuvvi is meant for parents and caregivers. Information about a child is entered by a parent or caregiver, stays under their control as described above, and is never used for advertising or profiling.
Deleting your data
- Deleting Nuvvi from your iPhone removes the records stored on that device.
- To remove the copy in iCloud, open Settings › your name › iCloud › Manage Storage (or Manage Account Storage), choose Nuvvi and delete its data.
- If you share your family, stop sharing in Nuvvi under Family first. Records already synced to another parent’s devices stay there until they are deleted on those devices.
This website
This site uses no cookies, analytics or third-party resources. Like most web servers, it keeps standard access logs (IP address, page requested, browser type) for 14 days for security and operation, then deletes them.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
